Where was I ??? Oh yeah...So I walked out towards Bo and Waska, who were both finishing up a "snack" that Amber had given them (good grief, Amber, that looks more like a meal!!!), and as you can see, Bo picked up his head, nickered, and started to move towards me.
Then he stopped and looked towards Waska, who clearly looked like he was NOT happy to see me. "Oh great. Here she comes, and then her sister will come out, and then the saddle comes out, and then the boots come out..." Okay, he didn't really say that, but he did think it...lol!!! ...And for just one millisecond, which I happened to catch on camera, Bo cocked his ear behind him, and debated how long it would take to run for the trees. "Come on Waska. I think we can make it back there and hide if we hurry it up a little."
Okay...I really have no idea what was going on in their heads, but it sure looked like they were plotting to ditch me...lol!!!! And did they ditch me?? Nope! Bo walked over to investigate my camera, and then grumpy Waska came over too, which he really shouldn't have, because I scratched him for a bit, and then slipped his halter on and took him out to get brushed, his saddle on, and his boots on...teeheehee!!!!

Well, my allotted blogging time slot is rapidly approaching its end, so I better log off and start my homework. Policy analysis anyone??? Hello??? Anyone out there???? No??? Well I hope that you all have a great weekend even if you don't want to help me with my homework (pouting). (Again...I am just joking!!!)

I don't know, Waska looks rather interested in you, not disapproving. Maybe Bo was wondering, should I stay here and let her come to me so I can finish my lunch, or go to her for a fun ride?
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? ;)
Oh I am SO glad they didn't run! For a minute there I thought I'd have to share a bit of my boy's catching advice with ya! Although he's been a good stinker lately....it's all that spoiling with the treats I'm doing while I medicate him.
I wish we lived closer so we could ride together...you are a motivated winter rider, I need a buddy like you!
They are giving you the same look I get from my 2! My Arab always is the one that you know just wants to run away from you and my Paint is such a people person that she just wants to hang out with you!
Hey PG, are you saying I am not a motivated winter rider? heee......ok, yes I admit, I am a fairweather rider and can't tolerate the cold and rain.
It is so wonderful with your hectic schedule that you still take time to ride.
LOL I love the cocked ear picture... you can totally tell he is thinking about it. He looks really cute too, all warm and cozy eating his "snack" (I wish my snacks looked like that!)
I just happen to be a policy analysis specialist!! Just kidding. But I had you for a second? Didnt I! Or not:)
Have a great weekend.
Actually I do policy analysis. Isn't it fun? Mostly from a public affairs perspective.
Get that homework done! We'll keep the blog warm for you...
Have fun with that homework there lady! Only a couple more months right? And then your on summer break?
I hear ya on the alloted blogger time though-with the longer days and now warm weather finally coming around(fingers crossed it stays that way), I am going to have to get out of the habit of getting on and off the computer all day long-LOL. It's time to go back to work and I'm actually excited about it. I'm so tired of winter and cold weather!
What little stinkers!! Trying to give you the old cold shoulder!! LOL!! Bo does look like he is thinking of making a run for it!! Glad he decided not to take a run for it. Our old man is hard to catch in a field, but in the barn or a smaller area he is easy. It's funny when they know they can get away with it!! LOL
have fun with your homework....sigh...i do miss school. Am I sick??
He definately looks like he's thinkin' of takin' off in the other direction! I'm feeling your paing with the homework.... I leave for Oregon in two weeks and I've barely had the time to crack the books.... The pressure it on.... and with two busy drill weekends ahead of me... I hope I can get it all done...
Yup I think you got them pegged - even though we can't speak horse, once you get to know your horses well enough you know what is going through their heads.
haha!
Bo is so blasted cute and very white looking and puff in that coat! I have had a more difficult time of catching Wa since the move..but I am counting it as a good thing...she always appeared to be in need of rescue before!
Yea..the first thing mine does is walk away...then she pee's! Every time!

Cute pictures of those ponies Melanie! Glad to hear you're getting in so much riding. Fun!!
They have quite a dialogue going on in your head. They are really cute, glad you got to ride before the reality of homework took over.
Hey Mellie!
It's Thursday. You usually post on Thursdays. Do we get a new post today? I'm missing you!
Awwww, I love how horses show their personalities. Non-Horse people just don't see it, do they?
hehe!
Where are you girlfriend?
Riding? Studying?
