So Tired of Politicians...

I don't know about you, but I don't know how much longer I can handle all of the heavy campaigning that is going on right now...well has been going on! And as if it is not enough that we have to watch the presidential nominees bash each other, we have to all watch our local politicians (governors, state representatives...you know who I am talking about!), sling mud back and forth too!
Honestly people...does anybody believe anything that they hear on television campaign ads anyway??? I know that I don't. You can't even really believe anything that comes out of the nominees mouths, let alone what is repeatedly flashed across your TV screen.

All I can say, is that whether you are voting for this man.... ...or for this man...
...please have your mind made up by November 4th!

PS-For those of you who support John McCain, I did not intentionally make his picture smaller...I just found it on the internet and uploaded it to my blog...same with Barack Obama's!

Okay - She's okay, her injury is similar to mine and will completely heal over time. Shoot me off an email and I will send you her number - she gave me permission to do so if you'd like to chat with her. Possum is okay too.

sooo sick of it all. I dont care who anyone votes for, they just need to vote. At this oint I figure who ever wins has to eat a big crap sandwich anyway. It makes my head hurt and the all the press ( if you can call it that) just makes me sad.

Amen sista!! I don't like either of them. They are evil and eviler!! I can't stand all the negative ads. Why do they waste their time. If I were to run, I would only post positive stuff about myslef. Forget wasting my money on someone else. Call me selfish!! LOL!! I can't wait for the election to be over.

Hi there, first time I've stumbled onto your post via Pony Girl's site. YES!! Sick to death of it all - you can't believe a word out of anyone's mouth it seems. They're so busy slamming the other guy, the only thing we can be sure of, is that they're both dirty dogs! No offense to dogs, really. You know what I mean...there's an end to the tunnel in sight though - less than 3 weeks to go. Regardless of who anybody votes for, let's all just get out there and vote. Sending up a heartfelt prayer for guidance might be our best bet at choosing the lesser of the evils - so to speak.

Saw your post on Bo - stocking up issues. Some good advice out there, usually no inflammation with arthritis and if there's no accompanying lameness, plenty of turn-out and grass hay (instead of alfalfa or orchard grass) would be preferrable. You can always add fat with corn/canola oil and senior feed would be best. If he doesn't mind shots, a glucosamine injection a couple times monthly or even once a week would probably do him more good than oral supplementation. Ask your vet about IM Acetyl D Glucosamine. It's cheaper too, usually. Sorry to be so long-winded.

I'm just still trying to figure out why anyone would even want to be president walking into a job position with such a heavy responsibility to get our entire country's economy back on track.

You have to ask yourself, what really is in it for these guys?
Why would they choose to put themselves through such chaos and verbal abuse and unrealstic expecations?

I truly don't understand.

I have to agree! It is a scary time! I was just watching the news, now they are bashing some poor plumber! It is so frustrating! I would wash my kids mouths out with soap if they talked to each other like that!

I plan to vote early with an absentee ballot to just get it over with. I am sick of it too. I am also sick of the BS that comes out of their mouths. An example, I read an article in the NY Times about the financial crisis in Japan in the late 1980s. In our local senate debate, one of the candidates referred to the article but stated the opposite of the facts regarding a Japanese government bailout, just to support the way he voted. He made an outright false statement on television, and nobody called him on it-not the moderators or even the guy he was debating. I was actually considering voting for him before he did that.

I am so freaking sick of it--mostly how I am seeing people I used to think highly of (friends and acquaintances) act like complete asses and I cannot help it, it changes my mind about them
