Because he is not the fastest kidlet on the block, he often brings other kids home, but only makes it to third base himself. You should hear me yelling...I mean encouraging him to run...lol!!!
Now of course, every mom thinks their son is the best baseball player out there, but Eric is pretty darn good. And it's not like he doesn't have big shoes to fill either.
Thankfully, he isn't really old enough to get the scope of the amount of pressure that other people place on him (due to his dad). And it's kind of creepy to hear coaches talk about my baby like he is a cow...excuse me, I mean bull...at a livestock auction. ...Because even if he weren't that good of a player, I would still love and watch him, but they wouldn't.
PS-Can you tell he gets his athletic ability from me???? LOL!!!!!

He sure had the right moves!!!
Good for him! He sure looks good out there!
That's awesome. As long as he's having fun.
Thanks guys, and Carolynn, you hit the nail on the head...it is all good as long as he is having fun, which is why I don't push him to play every sport out there. Only the ones he really likes. :)
I dont know about you but I seriously throw like a girl. You can see that he has quite the arm!
Thats awsome Mel it looks like a blast for all of you! I'd love to get involved wiht a league around here but with my bad shoulder, it'd probably be a bad idea!
I know exactly where you are coming from. My brother's baseball habits was my parents life and until I could go to shows myself. Mostly I was drug around to baseball games.
Don't they look so handsome in their uniforms?
My twinlings are busy with baseball now too. I can't stand the pressure put on them by coaches and even other parents. It bothers me when the emphasis is taken away from the focus of teamwork...and fun!
Eric looks like he's having fun...and that's all that matters :)
