I feel totally relieved now that school is FINALLY over, and I find that I am constantly asking myself how I was able to fit school and homework into my hectic schedule. Or perhaps I should say that I am amazed that I was able to do anything besides school and homework...lol!!!
(Below is a picture of my friend, Karen, and I down at the beach)
Because PLU's graduation was on May 30th at 3:00 in the afternoon, I chose to skip it and go camping with friends and family. We went to the ocean, which is one of my favorite places, and we all had a great time despite the weather....
After Memorial Day weekend, I had yet another busy week, and then my friend, Karen, and I left for Scottsdale. We just got back last night, and we had a lot of fun. I will do a separate post about it.....
Now I know that some of you (Chelsi???) are wondering about what what has been going on in the horse front, and unfortunately, it has not been much. I am planning on getting a lot of riding in this summer, taking some lessons, and....????
I would love to get a new horse for myself, but I will wait until I get a job, so maybe this fall??? My hubby and I have agreed that I will take at least 1-2 months to recover from school, and then I will start to look for a job. And....because I am nice, I said that I would wait to add any extra expenses until after there is a second income.
Of course, if one falls in my lap, I would not turn it down. ; )
I hope that all of you are doing well, and I plan on trying to catch up on your blogs this week. Take care, and I will be back soon.....

Congratulations! ...and you were doubting yourself some nights!
Oh yay! You're back! The comment you left me on my blog felt like....home...just felt so good! Great to hear from you again. I didn;t realize how much I missed ya girlfriend!
I'm so proud of you for getting through such a tough time this past year and succeeding! You rock! I mean it...you are awesome!
And look at you. You look beautiful, too. I love the pictures of the kids having a great time in the dunes, too.
I've not been to the beach in many years. You just reminded me how much I miss it.
I can't wait to hear more about Scottsdale!
(You really should have just headed east and stopped in to visit. I would have set you and Karen up in the guest room. I would have been thrilled to see you!)

How great Mellie! So glad that you finally got that behind you..totally a hugo-o-accomplishment! Whew!!!!
You kids flinging themselves above the dunes... just about said it all, and gave me a nice ol' evening chuckle!
I am happy that you skipped out on that bogus grad schedule-to be family and fun and relax.
I just got offered another horse...mustang Cazi, I am so fond of and get to ride whenever I wish..but, I just bought a TRUCK...My Freedom wheels! So...I will occasionally ride him.
Well, kinda exciting times comming up...time on your hands to breath and look ahead in confidence. Really was happy to see you over at my place...maybe I may trailer up sometime this summer and horse and me stay and ride? I found a bumper sticker...that is now "My Motto"..in fact..think I will go online and buy it... it reads, "Thoroughbreds make fast friends".
Catchy.

Glad to have you back, and can't wait to hear about your trip. I loved Scottsdale!! Wish I would have had more time to do some sightseeing, but it was all work!
YAYAYAYYA!!! And yes, I am always fishing for new horsey news. Actually someone asked me to look out for a horse for them today!! Sweet!
Anyways, great to have you back.
Oh... and I actually wasnt a fan of Scottsdale... It's so dry... and brown... and full of cactus. :) The horse farms are pretty sweet though!
Yayyyy! Good to have ya back!
Congrats on graduating!! Good for you for taking a little time off before having to look for a j.o.b!
I miss Scottsdale. I love the desert...except for those couple for those summer months. Ick!
