Where Did It Go???

Hey there!!!

I realize that I haven't posted anything in a long time, and I haven't visited any one's blogs either. We have been really busy-as usual-and school has started up for all of us again. I swear the summer flew by way to fast! Where did it go???

(Above is a shot from the woods the other day....)

Anywho...I have been thinking long and hard about what to do about blogging, because I really enjoy it, but I am finding that I am at the point in my schooling where I need to focus on that-and life in general-vs. blogging.

I have four classes two days a week, and I am doing my internship three days a week, plus the kidlets have their school work and sports as well. I will not stop blogging altogether, because I know that my family enjoys getting updates on the kidlets, but I am going to have to cut waaaaaay back.

(Below is another shot from the other day. The eagle was sitting above the river and watching the spawning salmon below)I am really going to miss reading your blogs, and I will miss the "bloggy" camaraderie that takes place out there in blogland, but I will try to visit and check up on you gals every once and awhile though. Also...for any of you that have my email address, please feel free to shoot me an email every now and then...okay????

Hopefully, in December, or in May (I will graduate in May, but my classes will cut back down to three in December), I can get back to blogging as usual.....

Now, here are some much belated pictures of the kidlets that I have been promising my family members for weeks...
Katie on the first day at her new school.....
Another shot of the two of them....
Eric's grouse that he shot last weekend (it was really yummy too!!)....
Katie shooting her Red Rider BB gun....
And, for Amber, Waska carefully eating the delicious blackberries on our ride the other day.
Again...I will keep posting periodically, but not as much as I used to, and it will most likely be about non-horsey stuff; although I am continuing to ride as often as I can. Take care, and I will "see" you all around!!!

Well Mel, I get it, I've hardly had time to blog these days! Can't believe I used to post every day, LOL! :) Work hard at school and do stop in and say hello now and then....we'll still be around in May!

I've missed you, but totally understand, my friend. I've been working with my kids this week starting up our homeschool schedule and we've all been trying to adjust to it after a relaxing summer.
I enjoyed seeing pics and seeing updates on the kids. Looks like Katie got a new hair cut. She looks adorable! Way to go Eric, on catching the grouse for dinner!

Your photos were amazing, especially that bald eagle. Wow!

Take care and keep in touch,
~Lisa

Well Mellie...knew that you had many fires to tend there in your wooded paridise. Send up a smoke signal from time to time and we all promise to have reading fodder available when you come to blogtown.

Your kids are too cute for school there and I love the horseface, pulling it's lips back for the stickery berry treat!

Missing you but also pryaing for your last year to be a success and for your mind to be extra focused and able to retain what you need, always!

I am with you, where did the summer go? It went by way too fast! There are not enough months in the summer. And even though I am not going to school, school is kicking my butt! Second grade is a lot of work!

I love your first day of school pics and the hunting pictures! The red rider bee bee gun, that one is so cute!! I hope you get a small break soon. Relax, we all are a bit busy these days.

I actually blew up an egg the other day!! It was nuts. I just don't have a brain!

Hey, Kiddo!
I dont know what to say. I understand that you have to focus on the bigger picture here. I havent got anything like you have to deal with, but i, also, have cut back on blogging. I have noticed that several of my favorite bloggers are cutting back, as well. I will continue to check up on you from time to time. I hope that you will check in with me when you can.
Love the "first day" photos! Such cute kids.
