And we wonder why none of us can breathe around here...lol!!!!
As fellow Western WA people know, we always have a lot of the yellow stuff in the spring, but this year, I swear it has taken over everything.
We have literally been surrounded by a sea a scotch broom on our rides. It is kind of pretty though, right? LOL!!!

Been catching up here, it definitely is the time of year for keeping busy, and doing less blogging. I love your family pictures - they are great! Your kids are so cute! Glad to hear that you're finished with school for the summer, that must feel awesome. Loved the riding pics too, of course. We have tons of scotch broom around here too. It doesn't bother me though, I think it's pretty, but it is taking over. Enjoy your summer and your downtime!!
I swear I actually sneezed just looking at these photos...I wish I could apprecaite how pretty they are but right now my nose is stuffed and my eyes look like I've had a little...or a lot of Good ol' BC bud and I am freakin' miserable!! LOL Sorry... Beautiful pics!
Yes it is pretty - very very yellow.
Just call me Captain Obvious.
Oh, that looks so familiar! The sea of scotch broom! The trails you are on look so similiar to ours. Powerlines, scotch broom and sandy trails!
Wow, that's a lotta yellow! Pretty though. I've done 99% of my riding in a ring. I'd really like to get out on a trail again.
It is absolutely beautiful.
Love the Wizard of Oz theme, but you know, 'nobody gets in to see the Wizard no how, no way'. You'll just have to wander around that gorgeous scenery all day.
Why is it that so many things that make me itch are so pretty?
Great pics!
Wow! That vibrant yellow sure is pretty, but did you have to give the horse some antihistamines before you rode out in that stuff? lol!
I'm not usually allergic to pollen, but that much might be tough to ride through. Wow!
Lucky you getting to get out for a ride, though.

Wow! No personal experience with Scotch Broom, is it one of those plants that really aggravates allergies?
Gorgeous, gorgeous!
