Golly, Gosh, Gee Whiz.....

Can you believe it has been a week since I last posted???? I have seriously not even had the time to get on the computer. I have not even been home! Seriously!!! (Have I said the word "seriously" enough yet??? LOL!!!)

So what have I been up to??? Primarily school. As I have mentioned before, the professors in our social work program have a secret agenda (I don't know what it is yet), and they like to wait until we are nearing the end of our semester before they start piling on the work (I have one month left!!!!!).

So, I have been reading, on average, 75-130 page chapters, and have I mentioned that I have five text books??? Do you know how much reading that is??? And it is not like you are sitting down and reading a book of your choice...trust me!!!! I also have been writing papers (8-12 pages on average so far, but the big ones...15-25 pages...are coming up. Know what that means??? More reading on top of the reading that I am already doing!!!!)

We are also in the process of interviewing for our field placement/internship sites for next year, so I have to run around, schedule, and go on interviews on top of grocery shopping, doctor appointments, housework, homework, and baseball, which Eric is playing 4-5 nights per week. (I know they say writing is therapeutic for the soul, but I am getting a little panicky right now...lol!!!)

And I am soooooo excited for next year!!! I will most likely be interning at a large, inner city hospital, but I am also looking at a mental health clinic, and at a local reservation. Anywho...I just wanted to take a minute to tell you all to have a Happy Easter, and to let you know that if it looks like I have been missing from your blogs, not to take it personally. I will be back...I promise! :)

Whew! Your school and home life schedules sounds insane! I suppose you'd look at me with crazy eyes if I even asked you about you having any time for riding. lol!

I can't remember if you mentioned if you'd have the summer off...or at least a few weeks to decompress and unqind from school?
I sure hope so. Whew.

I think I need a nap now after reading your busy schedule. lol!

Happy Easter to you, too, my dear friend!

I'm tired just hearing about what you have been doing.

I am also very proud that you are obtaining an education with all the other things you do.

Happy Easter Mellie!

As long as you're enjoying yourself and keeping the end result in sight, I'm all for it. Loving what you do is infinitely more important than how much money you make or prestige or anything else.

Now, to shorten your internet trip, I did respond to your comment about Casey. The short version is No, he isn't The One. I don't think I totally got that until I saw the pictures CP took of him today. I want a horse that's happy to see me and interested in me, not just merely tolerating me. Our trainer has her eye on a couple Arabs that might fit the bill when we're ready.

Happy Easter to you too!

Was just cringing reading about your homework load - gah! Stick with it - you are doing great! I know it sucks but it won't last forever.

You're like a superhero! My mind boggles at all that you have going on right now. Geez, Girl!

It was very good of you to pop in and let us know what you've been up to. And, to take some time out of your crazy busy schedule to swing by my place and leave such a wonderfully encouraging and thoughtful commment.

Big enormous hug!

Now, get back to work!
